After being displaced from a flood, Salem United Methodist Church purchased a small existing church and challenged Point to build an addition that blended with the building and allowed the church to remain open for worship. Point developed a method to add a major addition with a basement that looked as if it was original to the building. Seven 110-year-old stained glass windows from the former church building were incorporated into the new windows in the sanctuary addition. The new sanctuary seats 240 and administrative offices accommodate the church's growth. |
